报告题目:Poly(aryl piperidinium) Membranes and Direct Ammonia Fuel Cells

报告摘要:

Recently, hydroxide exchange membrane fuel cells (HEMFCs) have been attracting increasing attention due to lowering potentially the cost of fuel cell by employing the platinum-group-metal (PGM)-free anode and cathode catalysts. However, a key challenge is the lack of chemically stable, ionically conductive, and mechanically robust HEMs. The first part of this talk presents some work on the preparation of Poly(aryl piperidinium) membranes for HEMFCs. Low-temperature direct ammonia fuel cells (DAFCs) are attractive for transport application because of ammonia’s high volumetric energy density, easy transmission, dispensation, and storage. The second part of this talk, factors that enable a high-performance direct ammonia fuel cells (DAFCs) are discussed including an ammonia-tolerant cathode catalyst and high stable HEMs operated at high temperature.

报告人简介:

赵云,男,1986年出生于辽宁省辽阳市。2004年至2008年,于东北大学获学士学位。 2013年于中国科学院大连化学物理研究所获博士学位。2013至今在美国特拉华大学从事博士后工作。赵云博士主要从事碱性阴离子交换膜燃料电池、直接氨燃料电池和HCl电解池等电化学研究,迄今为止,先后在Nature Energy,Joule,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Adv. Mater.,ACS Energy Lett.,Chem Sus Chem和J. Power Sources等期刊上发表20余篇论文。原创性成果多次受到PhysOrg,Green Car Congress,Science Daily,UDaily,X-MOL等媒体报道。获授权美国专利2项,中国专利6项。受邀担任J. Am. Chem. Soc.,Adv. Mater.,ACS Catal.等国际知名学术期刊的独立审稿人,以及美国ACS PRF和香港RGC项目申报书评审人。
